Sharon M. Samuels, Founder + Producer

Sharon has worked in the Arts for over 20 years, first as an architect and later in film and TV. She spent most of her Architecture career in Chicago, working for various local firms before going out on her own.  After seven years, she had the opportunity to work as a set designer on a television show.  She became fascinated by how the creative process applies to film and TV.  Since that first job, she has had incredible opportunities to work on extraordinary projects with wonderful crews.  She works as an Art Director these days, both in Chicago and nationally.

Sharon is a longtime advocate of design education and spends whatever spare time she volunteers her time through youth programs that introduce students to design thinking and expose them to creative careers that they would otherwise not know about.   

Sharon is also a runner and triathlete.  The 3:59 in bluprnt.359 is her marathon personal record, one of a few highlights in her athletic career.  After achieving the goals she had set in this arena, these days, she mostly just enjoys hanging out, having fun, and eating snacks.

In 2023, Sharon established bluprnt.359, a media company that will produce original fiction and non-fiction content for screens (large and small) and print.
