PRODUCTION
Welcome to blueprint.359
We tell stories.
We are dedicated to producing both fiction and non-fiction films that leave a lasting impression, spark conversation, and touch the hearts and minds of viewers everywhere.
Where did the name come from? For every project you need a plan—a blueprint to follow that will lead you to success. The 359 is a reference to our founders marathon days—-the goal was to complete 26 miles in under 4 hours. It represents the setting of a goal and achieving it, even if you are down to the wire. Even if you think you wont make it, keep running, you may be right there.

OUR PEOPLE
Sharon M. Samuels
Sharon Samuels is the founder of bluprnt.359 and a Chicago-based filmmaker, architect, and art director whose work spans film, television, architecture, and photography. A creative professional in the truest sense, she has spent over two decades building worlds — first in steel and concrete, and now on screen.
Sharon's film career began in 2016 as a set designer, and she has since advanced through the art department in roles including Assistant Art Director and Art Director, contributing to acclaimed productions in Chicago and beyond. In 2017, she stepped into producing with her first short film, Inside the Box: The Story of Boxville, a finalist in the AIA's I Look Up Film Festival. In 2024, she founded bluprnt.359, a media company producing original fiction and non-fiction content for screens large and small, and print. The name is intentional: every great project starts with a blueprint, and the 3:59 — her marathon personal record — is a reminder that worthwhile goals are worth seeing through, even when the finish line feels far.
Beyond her professional work, Sharon is a passionate advocate for design education, volunteering with youth programs that introduce students to design thinking and expose them to creative careers they might not otherwise discover. She is drawn to history, culinary experiences, and culturally rich pursuits. A dedicated runner and triathlete, these days she mostly just enjoys hanging out, having fun, and eating snacks.
